Hi, I'm Aurora Johannson!
I've been helping clients resolve challenging disputes as a lawyer since 2007 and as a mediator since 2011. Why? Because there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing my clients shift from overwhelm or hopelessness to feeling joyful, happy and excited about their future.
After years of litigation and mediation, I realized conflict resolution and mindfulness go together like yin and yang. Mindfulness was the key piece missing for many of my clients and for many lawyers, including myself, at times.
I started Inside Passage Law, a full-service legal and mediation firm. Since 2007, we've helped dozens of BC couples separate peacefully, and hundreds of others find their paths to freedom from a variety of legal constraints.

Having a judge tell you how you'll live your life is no fun. That’s why I focus our services on mindful mediation, where there’s more control over the processes and outcomes. We incorporate mindfulness into our legal work together as needed, and I teach my interested clients techniques like curious inquiry, radical acceptance, breath work, and meditations. Hannah Palomera
Hannah is one of the legal assistants who handles our financials, follow ups, and any other communications at the start of each week to ensure the office is up to date and ready for the following days. When not in office, she can be found in front of an easel painting the day away.
Mallory Wilk
Mallory is one of the legal assistants who handles all office communications, schedules appointments with clients, and ensures that the office runs smoothly. When she's not at the office, you might find her playing golf or studying.
